Rainforest Destruction rate

Hi! It's me, Echo. Instead of my silly and very weird updates, I'm giving real facts about the destruction rate of the rainforest! (I actually had notes) If I sound biased to one side of this issue, I'm not. I'm simply trying to geting information throught to start a change in attitude for this subject. Get some good debates going. The more we think about this, the sooner we can take action to save the rainforests. (p.s. I really DO wish people wouldn't cut down rainforest. However, people need jobs and money. So what are they suposed to do? again, I'm not biased)

Eh, I can't stand seafood. Like, I've had a pet lobster (a bleu lobstah!) and he was awesome, he had personality which really made me think,"Do all lobsters have personalities? Well, they're all dead, so w/e." So stop killing them? NO! It helps one person's money for catching them, the buyer sends them to people, they have other people eat them, they like it, buy more. OH LOOK it's a chain events, lobsters go extinct, humans go to some other source until the whole fish population is dead.

Hm, lobster hunting... I may do that :D Depends... Lobsters aren't under the endangered species act, so it isn't violating the law and the amandments protect their rights to do so, but I'll never eat a lobster/crab again D: (tis echo X3)

Many claims from these says "experts" say rainforest is being lost at the rate of a football pitch every second, and have been saying that for over a decade.

Math: Standard FIFA pitch: 100x110 meters, 11,000 meters square. By 60 seconds, 60 mins, 365 days, 10 years = 3, 468, 960, 000, 000 sq meters lost. But only 148,940,000,000 sq meters of land on Earth. Environmental souces are full of shit. One of many such examples.
