Matt Bomer and Kathy Cameron present Trinity High School senior Emmett Patterson with the 2011 Student Advocate of the Year Awards at the GLSEN Respect Awards -- Los Angeles.
That's my ex's mom! She truly is a huge advocate for LGBT rights, especially those of the kids in Washington, PA, a small suburb 45 minutes outside of Pittsburgh.
She is a wonderful woman and I'm so happy that she was able to do this for one of her kids. Congrats Kathy and Congrats Emmett!
What a true inspiration Emett Patterson is! He will help so many to see what talents and abilities LGBTQ people have and to educate others to know that everyone deserves to be their true, authentic selves and to follow their dreams. Jean
Fantastic Kathy.....you should be very proud and I'm happy for you and your "kids" :-) Johnny
