When this use to come on the radio back in the 70s, it didn't matter what kind of mood you were in because you felt better after the song played. What grand memories of my favourite time in life.

Oh my, brings back the memories... Thank for post this ole favourite. I saw him perform it Live in the Saint John High School auditorium in the summer of '73 on his home coming tour of the Maritimes. A Saint John'er who did good. A splendid performance. A few years later, saw him perform it again when he was touring with April Wine as their opening act, at the Lady Beverbrook in Fredericton. Thanks for the memories.
