It's a suburb of Kansas City - it's the next exit past the Kansas City airport.The Big Damn Band loves Kansas City and have played there more than a dozen times.

I consider it a suburb, especially considering all the Northland development. I'm from Kansas City too. It's as much of a suburb as Parkville is, and that is close enough to be the home of the Kansas City School of Rock.
