    Yeah I get attacked, the enemy has crazy peace requests so i wipe them out and then everyone starts calling me a warmonger and atack me ---> forced to repeat process

    Agreed. Or if though your tech choices, you could either go down the steam route or regular route. That way you never know which your opponents have picked.

    this scenario would be so much better if it started as a normal game until you reach the industrial era and you get the new techs and resources.

    Nah. The way you do it is to beat them up until they kill you everything. Also, before declaring war it's a good idea to make a deal that takes away all their money. They won't be getting it back, but gold per turn will be canceled.
