In the very first All-New Super Friends TV series, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin take on "The Brain Machine". This is the only episode to feature a different theme for the story credit. Also the characters names are not mentioned, just their pictures. The Brain Machine was the first of four adventures featured in the first episode. Produced by Hanna Barbera in 1977.

  • wouldnt it be rad to have your life narrated by the superfriends narrator?

  • They need to do something. Otherwise they'd just sit around watching Superman doing everything.

  • Hey uhh Robin? Why do you carry a bunch of inflateable you on your belt?

Secondly, where can i get one?

  • how exactly is this guy supposed to be smart? He seems like a dimwit to me. Even I know how to get the cops off my back without attracting attention, and I'm not even very smart even when compared to plain old non-evolved humans.

(...at the very least they should have given him the dignity of getting bested by super strength instead of the "application of intelligence.")

  • And why exactly were the Superfriends trying to stop Dr. Cranum again? The dude was gonna turn everyone into mega geniuses with the ability to float cars with their fingertips. For free. Clearly, the Superfriends are inferior beings.

  • @fucheduck Extra points for you for noticing where they ripped that idea off from, right down to the pointed ears and "evolution" stuff.

  • that scooby doo music fits him. Where's his sixth finger?

  • I remember seeing this, as part of the first episode of this incarnation of the series, in 1977 and being delighted that the Super Friends had finally become exciting to watch.

  • If Dr. Cranum was really smart, he should offer the transformation as a service and make himself rich. And he can tell the Superfriends to get lost because people come to him for the transform and pay for it too!

  • If Dr. Cranum was really smart, he should offer the transformation as a service and make himself rich.

  • @dwilmer7 If you are talking about William Woodson, he also provides the voice of Dr. Scat. Yet I don't seem to recognize the voice actor behind Dr. Cranum.
