Snus is perfectly fine and actually helps your teeth do to its acidic properties and coffee liquor and other things stain teeth this vid was a fail.

Expensive - Invalid. Cheaper than smoking and lasts longer because you use less.
Negative Health Effects - No study has shown snus to have any negaitve health effects.
Ruin Social Life - Really? Was this just thrown in to make you look even more poorly researched than you already do?
The facts are the facts, you can't debate them. Snus is the safest form of tobacco consumption available and doesn't have any of the effects you list in your "informative" video.

Are you kidding me?
Discolored Teeth - Invalid. Snus has not been proven to cause any negative effects to your oral cavity.
Cancer - Invalid. Snus has been proven not to cause cancer. (the Swedish variety).
Addicted - True, addiction is a side effect of nicotine. But quitting smoking by switching to snus is a better choice. I'd take addiction over cancer any day. "Quit or Die" doesn't work and people need options!

If you snus, u win

I'm not sure if there's ever been a documented case of cancer from snus. The PSA is correct that pancreatic cancer is the only cancer that Swedish snus could cause but as far as I know (I don't use snus) the risk is VERY SMALL when compared to cigarettes, smoking causes far more pancreatic cancer than snus, Swedes have the lowest rate of tobacco related disease in EU, now if you were to always have a 22 nicotine mg snus in your lip 24/7 then it could probably cause health problems I don't know?

@BlackLookingGlass Agreed. Snus saved me! I love that stuff. Anyone who thinks Snus is just as bad as smokes is retarded. I already feel much much better.

Any doctor that claims a patient's pancreatic cancer was caused by their snus habit should lose their medical license. There is no conclusive evidence that snus causes, contributes to, or increases the likelihood of pancreatic or any other cancer. There were some studies done that provided some SPECULATIVE evidence that snus MIGHT be a contributor to an increased risk of pancreatic cancer; these results have never been repeated and it is therefore not a valid medical conclusion.

We're talking about someone with a smoking habit, and even old school stain your teeth chewing tobacco cuts cuts most of the harm out of the equation.

As stated no elevated risk of cancer.
Existing smokers and coffee drinkers are already at risk for stained teeth,
Look, you sort of need the scientific research to back up the risk factor of snus vs smoking.

Idiots. What a waste of public funding.
Snus is awesome! I quit smoking with Snus. Snus is not nearly as bad as smoking.. I spent hours reading articles and researching Snus; and looking at the statistics. Gimme a break.. You should make a video on regular chewing tobacco and dip, not Snus..
