Nicosia Ledra Street Crossing Shut again before days end

Euronews reported that the Ledra Street Crossing had been shut down by the Cyprus Government, within minutes of Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation having done so. CyBC showed images of uniformed Turkish Cypriot police officers standing in the middle of the newly opened pedestrian crossing as they interrupted coverage of video footage which had been recorded earlier, reporting that an impromptu party with live music was taking place on the Turkish side of the crossing. Bayrak TV broadcasting over the web from 'Northern Cyprus', which had been relaying images from the street party cut to recordings of the Ledra Street crossing as it had been before the barriers came down.

Well said.Turkey didn't invade Cyprus to "bring peace".Turkey invaded Cyprus to take control of the entire island,because they were afraid of Cyprus being reunited with Greece.

Although Ledra street has opened, 40% of Cyprus is still occupied by Turkey!!!
