  • That is good, she is starting the potty thing! As for sitting there for 40 mins, hahahahha! i have done that a couple times, but its not like they mind or whatever, and my kids didnt resent it? so i think every kid is different, but i see nothing wrong with leaving kids on there for 20-30 mins! AS long as they are ok with it.

  • yah she was just sitting there watching noggin, I don't think she even realized she was on the potty.... lol

  • Was the (sticker) actually a band aid?

  • Yes

  • I am so glad you mentioned about the car seat again! When I had my lil girl my in laws were all getting on to me b/c I left it up!!!!

  • It's amazing at how much has changed since our in-laws were parents. Mine were telling me they use to feed baby w/ cereal in their bottles from the day they were born, to putting whiskey in it to make them go to sleep, and how they were chewing meat b4 they even had teeth. I was like umm that seems a bit far fetched. I just let it go in and right on OUT the other ear.

  • That is my name!!! I'm glad someone else has that name. She is so cute (:

  • Aww, my oldest daughter used to tug on her ear when she sucked her thumb too! Then when she got to be about 2 she'd poke her belly button while sucking her thumb instead...lol. So cute!

  • get her to stop

  • i am a pediatric dental assistant, and we have parents come in all the time worried about the thumb sucking effecting the baby and adult teeth moving in a more flared position. i just want to let you know that thumb sucking doesnt effect the adult teeth's position unless she continues to suck her thumb until she is well into her forth year...just in case you were worried about it. there is also this great book on amazon called David decides about Thumbsucking. it has wonderful tips on how to

  • Didn't know about the peanut butter thing, my pedi said its just a choking hazard in large amounts and a allergy thing. But a great nutrious snack if not allergic? I have been giving it to mine since 11 mos. since I breastfed and she had no problems with me eating it since birth. Now I waunder what damage I did??

  • What's wrong with her sucking her thumb? I guess she don't need it but maybe it's just a comfort thing
