Alyeska Snowboarding Photos

Here are some pictures of our recent trip to Alyeska, Alaska. I have set them up as a simple slide show, but some of the scenery is spectacular.

We were there from Friday 1/25/08 through Sunday 1/27/08. The first two days we snowboarded at Alyeska resort (www.alyeskaresort.com), and on the last day we went on a backcountry snowcat adventure with Chugach Powder Guides (www.chugachpowderguides.com).

The song is appropriately "Snow" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Long as there's snow, it's open. And I live in Ak, so trust me, you get like maybe 2-3 months of no snow up at Alyeska. Summer doesn't fucking matter obviously iGrizzliestBear

No, there's no snow, it opens in I think November but closes in May for skiiing/snowboarding. Mainly because it's too much of a risk and there is NO snow in those months. You'd be better off going south of the equator to snowboard because up here it's SUMMER TIME!
