Claudia Ahwireng chose to spend both placements at the Colorado Progressive Coalition, where she has been working for economic justice by organizing around the Earned Income Tax Credit Initiative. She is currently planning a training for activists and her signature-gathering work was recently featured on TV. In this video, Claudia speaks about the insight that she's gained from her YP4 mentorship and how young leaders can make organizations more accessible to people who might not otherwise think of them as venues for change.
The Leadership Academy is a 10-month program that includes fellowship placements.
