  • hey, my uncle lives in Decatur and also regularly sees f-22s and cargo planes pass over his house. he also has seen the greenish paint on the bottom of some f-22s. does anyone know what that is for?

  • @jetwannabe The greenish paint on the bottom of the F-22's is the stock paint coat they get before they leave lock-heed and martin. When the F-22's are sold to the US military they are then painted the grey color we are use to seeing.

  • @jetwannabe if you see a green f-22 it is one that hasn't been delivered to the usaf yet. it is actually a primer. it was originally a pinkish color but the pilots had a bit of a protest about it and it was changed to green.

  • So cool!
