We are thrilled to present the 2011 Commencement Address by renowned artist Jenny Saville. A Senior Critic at the Academy since 2006, Jenny has frequently imparted her insight to our students through dynamic Master Classes. www.nyaa.edu

Jenny Saville received her degree at Glasgow School of Art and studied at the Slade School of Art. Her work has been reviewed and discussed in major publications including The New York Times, Artforum, Art in America, Flashart and ARTnews. Since her debut in 1992, her focus has remained on the body including the 1992 collaboration with photographer Glen Luchford to produce a series of large scale polaroids. Major exhibitions have been on view at: Cooling Gallery, London; the Royal Academy of Art; Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego; Rotunda: County Hall, London; Gagosian Gallery, New York; The Saatchi Gallery, London; International Biennial Exhibition, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Roma, Rome; The Bilotti Chapel, Rome. She is represented in New York and London by Gagosian Gallery.
