O my gosh....I was blessed to see them live in concert last night in Kansas City. Absolutely love Uncle Freddy. I shook his hand and told him what great memories he brought back and how he was my favorite bass singer. I was 14 yeas old dancing around the living room and at the high school Saturday nights dances in the gym called Westport Tiger Den. What a blast that was!!! We LOVED Blue Moon!!!! Walked through the halls singing the bass part.

OMG. This video brought a tear to my eye. When I was little, my Dad would drive us to New York City to visit my grandparents. In my hometown in Western Mass., the radio stations were pretty boring, but as we approached the big City, we could pick up stations like WABC. That's the first time I ever heard the Marcels doing "Blue Moon," and it became my favorite at the time. Being able to hear that song and other cool music was one of the things I liked about going to New York.
