  • THIS GAME SHOULD NEVER DIE. PERIOD. thanks for putting this up <3

  • I'm going to set off a few dork alarms by saying this, but when this song played after I killed Magus in the Dark Ages, it actually made me feel so bad that I reset the game and let him live.

  • I remember when I heard this song in the DS version in the extra ending... that scene was heartbreaking </3

  • God dangit, somebody should make a ultimate extended version of this thing

  • @ScireSpire I'm pretty young and still TOTALLY agree. They never make games like this or like earthbound and mother 3.

  • Play A Sad One Joe....

  • I cried when I got to the scene with Robo being abused by his fellow robots.

    "You are defective."

    "You must be terminated."

  • @KingPapi316 I agree and disagree. I am OLD. I understand what you are saying. However, I am not ignorant; today's RPG's do not lack. They are just modern now. The world is too sensitive. They (That is, the younger generation) are not willing to show the emotions that we used to have. Final Fantasy XIII does show emotions; however, it is isn't the most relatable for us OLD gamers.

  • @Galifay: There was some serious passion packed into each one of those SquareSoft RPG's that todays games just lack. I remember this scene youre talking about n man.... Pass me a vodka an juice, I think I gonna cry. Hahahaha!! Seriously, Chrono Trigger is a classic.

  • I think one of the most powerful moments in which this song plays is the scene after defeating Black Tyrano, right before Lavos falls in 65 Mil. What Azala says is really kind of heartbreaking. Her race just lost the battle, and now they're getting wiped out. The best part of it was, right before the others leave, Azala says "The future... we have no future..." which, I guess, implies she knew what Lavos would eventually do- and that 'We' meant the beings of their planet, not just the Reptites.

  • Play a sad one Joe

  • All these years later, this is still an amazing song. I always fondly remember the SNES/GENESIS era. Whenever I hear this song and miss it greatly.
