1 Mile with Uli Steidl & Geoff Roes

Journeyfilm was filming The North Face Endurance Challenge 50 Mile Trail Championship in Marin, California. While on the Redwood Trail JB Benna was able to run and film 1 mile with UltraRunning legends Uli Steidl and Geoff Roes. It is great to see such top runners in the middle of such a powerful performance. Uli went on to win the race in 6:33:29 and the $10,000 purse. Geoff was second in 6:40:50 and took home $4,000.
The song is called Isolated and it is an early demo for Blackyear a band that I produce. Here is a link to purchase from the band.

Great video -- I was out there, oh... a few hours behind and slo-mo in comparison at that point. :) @JB What equipment did you shoot with? Did you have the camera on a steady-mount or waist holster?

This is rad - I think I remember you guy(s) while stumbling through a Where's Waldo a few years back - you guys had the stable-camera equipment. This is cool to cruise with the speedsters for a bit - time for electric motorcycle press coverage! -Gus

Great work by Benna to keep up with them while carrying a camera! Stiedl won and Roes cam in 2nd...yeah, they're fast.
