The investigation is getting closer to Scott Walker and as Walter Cronkite once said in 1972 about Watergate, "events have been rushing toward one seemingly inevitable conclusion."
Scott Walker must go.

I agree with all comments here. Perhaps teachers/family members could use this commercial as a teachable moment and talk about Watergate and how this changed our concept of politicians.
Walker has, for too long, been the epicenter of dirty politics in WI; the man must be held accountable for the misdeeds-even if he did not verbally agree to them, he did agree through omission. He is guilty after the fact.

Right and without a shred of proof of wrongdoing on Walker's part. Sure, he hired people that did really bad things, but isn't our justice system suppose to be innocent until proven guilty? Right now, Wisconsin Democrats will jump on any conspiracy or lie to try to bring Governor Walker down. Guess what Dems... we actually gained jobs in 2011 after the most reliable form of job measurement from the BLS, the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages. Of course, that must be a lie too...

Unbelieveable! Just another union driven, thug mentality ad. I hope the governors of other states kick the unions and their worthless, crybaby employees' rears. Never in my life have I seen such a great minority, the unions by far, control the massive majority. As usual this is accomplished through threats, intimidation and outright lies.

seriously, all you people are stupid. As a Wisconsin taxpayer, I can proudly say I've never been more satisfied with our current governor. Cities across the country are filing BANKRUPTCY. Cuts needed to be made, and Wisconsin was lucky enough to find a governor that had the balls to do it.

Really? You're really going to pit one extreamist example of an anti-Walker supporter, when the Governor of the state has been proved to take place in dirty politics and de-unionizing the school boards even though it doesn't save the state any money? You need to get your priorities straight.

How about investigating some of your OWN anti-walker union lemmings for once? Oh lets see... how about TOM STORY, 3rd grade teacher at Mary McLeod Bethune Academy in Milwaukee, WI... a teacher who has decided to HARASS Walker-supporters at their places of work illegally and the horrible Milwaukee School system actually supports his harassment and won't respond to any complaints about his illegal activities. How about going after the NUT JOBS like Tom Story and his whiny union-ized cronies?? hmm?

(continued from below)
The public sector - union and non-union alike - have been taking pay cuts and been forced to contribute more to their health care and retirement for YEARS now.
Collective bargaining is a privilege, not a right... especially when those "bargains" include fleecing the taxpayers by setting up a WEAC owned healthcare company and forcing localities to buy insurance at 100% over market value, double-dipping pensions, and "stacking" sick time. Reform was needed.

Walker is not the target of the investigation and never was. Might as well ask me what my opinion would be if Barrett, Clarke, or Taylor became the target, got indicted, or prosecuted. It would be just as much speculation and ridiculous hypothetical.
Walker made speeches on reforming public-sector healthcare and pension contributions as far back as August of 2010. The voters listened.
Far from an attack, the changes made have simply brought the public CBAs in line with the public sector.

By what measure is Walker the best governor in Wisconsin history?

If you learned Walker had become the target of this investigation, would this change your opinion of Walker? What if he got indicted? What if he got prosecuted?
I agree that the people who win elections should be allowed to govern, but Walker has engaged in attacks on unions--and other things--that he didn't campaign upon. At what point does a public official forfeit the presumption of having the right to govern? How far can s/he deviate from what s/he ran on in the election?
