I thought this was pretty obvious but apparently not:
I MADE NO ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE SIMS LOOK LIKE ACTUAL BAND MEMBERS. In fact I shot the video before I even knew what song I was gonna use.

good much advice here
change ur sims and object detail to maximum so it wont look like their fingers are mushed together and the guitars look like their paint is washing away. Oh also spend time getting custom stuff because none of them look like the actual members...

I think the action is called "freestyle" or something. I forgot. Next time I'll probly use the karaoke microphone and have them actually sing.
