Jack Napier originally was given to Joker original name before the aciidenin Tim burton's adaption of the batman. Historically comic wise, Joker has never been given a name or alias to his prior life. Yes some stories has been told and each time different, just like he says: a wise man once said, if ur gonna have a past, better make it multiple choice! BWUAHAHAHAHAHA

@Funnyfish66 Actually he was called that once in Batman TAS as well. I forget who was talking to Batman but she said "We currently have Jack Napier, Pamela Isley, and Harvey Dent. You may know them better as Joker, Poison Ivy, and Two Face." It was something like that.
So his name HAS been given, but if the Joker says his name is Jack, would you believe him?
