USA vs. Ireland Rugby League Test, The Donnybrook Cup 2011, Philadelphia

The USA and Ireland renewed their traditional rivalry this year in Philadelphia. On a sunny but chilly day the Irish had come over for the St Patrick's Day celebrations and what a better way to end the weeks celebrations then with a Rugby league match. It took a good 30 minutes before the opening points were scored and it was a very even match. However in the second half the Irish with two quick tries after the break were able to grab the momentum and eventually ran out 26-8 winners. So enjoy the highlights of the 2011 Donnybrook Cup.

this is the sport where the Tomahawks can get some NFL rejects, bring them on there team and do very well. It's just more simpler than Union plus the size will be a big advantage because there arnt many 105+kg league players lol

well ireland in union has always produced best backs and it seems to suit ireland style so i bet ireland will get brilliant and league seems to be a better sport in my view

USA flogged South Africa 40 points to 4 I really hope it gets bigger in America, our team (Australia) only has 2 real challengers and that's NZ and England it'd be good to have a bit more competition

Already bought my tickets, for the world cup qualifier vs South Africa. I have no doubt USA will qualify but still a lot of work still to do!
