Mayoral Candidates Q & A Session, Part 2: Remarks by Ron Gambardella

On July 9th, 2009, the Whitneyville Civic Association sponsored a Question and Answer Session for the candidates for Mayor of Hamden. Attending the session were Ron Gambardella and Scott Jackson. In Part 2, Ron Gambardella provided his opening remarks. Ron discussed his background in financial planning as well as his vision for Hamden. He talked about developing a five year plan for Hamden's budget in order to control spending and plan ahead for financial expenditures. Ron also discussed his idea for a Mayor's Advisory Council, Education Task Force, Street and Sidewalk Commission and other ways for the citizens of Hamden to become more involved in the governance of the town.
