  • I think it's fair to say world peace is impossible to achieve now...but in 1969 for 3 days...we got damn close.

  • You make me cry still Sly. Fred. Rose. Jerry. Greg. Cynthia. Larry.

Perfect. This was THE perfect moment. You captured the whole period from the end of the war to Watergate in 1 perfect moment. For ten minutes we'd done it. The world was a perfect place for ten minutes. Thankyou.

  • god! music can take us this high. its so amazing.Fuccking wood stock!!!!!!

  • @sirklondike303 why say that when we now have billions more of people today than in the 60's and just as there are so many people today against peace and out to prevent it there are just as many people for peace and are working to ensure it if you ask me we are alot closer today than yesterday.

  • When the last part of higher comes on I do anything but dance. Sly is one convincing dude I must say

  • @sirklondike303 The Woodstock Festival began when the Battle of the Bogside was raging, starting the almost 30 year long conflict in Northern Ireland. Other events in the weeks around woodstock including the burning of the Al-Aqsa mosque, the Manson Family murders, the coup that brought Moammar Gadaffi to power in Libya, the My Lai massacre and failed, secret peace negotiations between the US and North Vietnam. Woodstock was a kickass festival, but didn't bring the world one inch closer to peace

  • @PeachWNK Thank you finally someone knew im thinking about playing the organ and this sounded pretty good I might get the xk3

  • @TheNorthernSoulKing Hold on.... I looked around a little. I know Sly played a Hammond a lot, but I guess at Woodstock he played a Farfisa Professional 222 combo organ. So there ya go! :)

  • Around the 7 minute mark is equivalent to TWO Five Hour Energies, IMO.

  • Amazing! :O

  • anyone know what keyboard he has? Please email me
