I need a KEA to deal with my stepmother!

GREIFERS :D

Fascinating video. I love the experiment with the long tube, where the kea has to do something different at each level to get the food to fall. I feel they overuse the chess-game analogy, though, by playing that same footage of the chess game reflected in the bird's eye too frequently. Otherwise, an amazing part. On to the next one!

theres parrots are so smart they can take apart cars sort of

Kea's possess an enthusiastic personality which seems to play as important a role as intelligence

i do work xp in a zoo here in NZ and the 2 Kea we have here are 30 years old and arn't too interested in puzzles cos they're about 30 years old and loose curiosity (in the wild they're lucky to get to 15) and we had one that died last year which was somewhere between 50 and 65 years old (zoo records weren't that great in the past so not quite sure)

Someone reupload part 2 please

If these things grow arms and hands, we are fucked

@xroot89 Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Should have gone with King's Gambit.

Weapons of trash destruction! Quick, send in the military!
Clearly that bird is a goddamn idiot, it opened with the King's Indian Defense

@suddenlyitsobvious That stinging sensation is just your cognitive dissonance telling you that something is wrong with your thinking.
