Dorian's men take Stanley back to his apartment to collect the money he stole from the bank, before taking him to the Gotham City Police Station; wth a green rubber mask in his pocket. Meanwhile, Dorian forces a Government worker into erasing all of Stanley's information from all Police data banks.
So the police at Gotham have no information on him and will keep him locked up for an extremely long time; keeping him out of Dorian's way.
Meanwhile, Jack has crawled out of a sewage pipe. His face burning, he makes his way to a dodgy, back-end plastic surgeon. The plastic surgeon does the best he can to help Jack but can only do so much with his very limited, dirty equipment.
Once he's finished he shows Jack his 'new face'. Jack is driven insane by his own reflection and stumbles out of the plastic surgeons practice laughing.
Later that night, Jack makes his way to Carl Grissom's office. Jack beleives Carl set him up to be killed and shots Grissom.
Over the next few months Jack, now calling himself 'The Joker, takes out all of Gotham City's other crime/gang bosses. In doing so, making himself the no 1. crime boss in all of Gotham.
