  • Is that...Richard Fortus from Guns n' Roses with the curly hair, on lead guitar ??

  • @TheGlow101 - Yes, the person to the far right of the screen is Richard Fortus who is currently with Guns n' Roses.

  • ok i got into this band the other day after looking for doom n wow what a great band this vids a bit iffy but go to their myspace to check out their songs they blew me away

  • Are you sure you've got the right Pale Divine? There are two. There's this one which was a band that was together in the late eighties and early nineties that recorded one CD for Atlantic records and there'e the Doom Metal band that is still currently togther in PA somwhere. I think latter is the band you're looking for, not this one.

  • This video is about 18 years old! They were "The Eyes" originally, and then changed it to Pale Divine when they got a national recording contract. You may not like their style, but they were a very good talented band. In fact, the lead singer is a friend, and a really good guy. The guitar player, by the frigging way, now plays with Guns "N Roses! There is no need to be so abusive to others on here. If it's not what you were looking for, go find what you like. • I think their songs are still fresh and would do very well today. Our current music today is stale and is see the trend of new artist using the 80's style.

We had a lot of cool bands in St. Louis about 18 years ago. WTF happened????

I use to play bass guitar for Eye Scream and miss the open mic nights at Kennedy's and the High Point.

  • I just got my copy yeasterday. Excellent stuff

  • Yes you can get the PALE DIVINE BOX SET, it has Freedom and DVD's I just got mine in the mail today and I am watchig it>>> THIS IS AWESOME!!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!!

  • I'd love to get a copy of Freedom in a Cage on CD. I have it on cassette, but it's getting a bit crusty. Any ideas on how I can obtain a copy?

  • I keep posting but it doesn't seem to update. The old Pale Divine website has been resurrected and it appears they might have plans to sell the demo's I was offering along with some possible video. Therefore everyone will have to wait. I can promise you it's worth every penny when they decide to offer it. Google "theeyes-paledivine" I wish them the best of luck.

  • I need to find out more about this reunion show.

FYI: I have a CD copy of The Eyes, another one listed as "demos" which I believe were for the first album, one listed as "second album demos" and 2 CD's of live shows but Richard is replaced with the guitarist from another band (Suave Octopus/Rainbox guitarist maybe?) If, and only if, I get permission from one of the band members I would be willing to post them on a torrent for downloading. It would be nice if someone did the same for the vids. =)
