judging from the way the handle to the cart is on the arm of the truck, would you say that the container itself is permanently put onto the truck?

I never studied the connection mechanism, however I'm sure it's arrangement is like the Curroto Can. It has a few hydraulic lines that connect to the arm from the mechanism, and can disconnect just as easily.
