He's only a child and he was TIRED! You should never hit a child! This father was trying to put him in his place. This father was jealous of his own son and mad at reporters. He took it all out on a child. His son had brought income to the family. He should be proud not angry! And he's made no apology or given a sign of remorse. Bad father!!!

Slumdog Millionaire" is a great movie.

Have you noticed when parents control their kids (not off course... but a slap or belt or kick in the but) the children grow up o be smartasses and when they grow up they miss their ass kicking parents? i doo lol, i wish they were here to beat me again :), my aunt stopped beating me 4 years ago.... its boaring now.

iHATElmao, what do you mean white kids don't get beaten? What do you know? I'm white and my dad used to beat me with his belt and punched me in the back of the head, and I still acted up, you wan't to know why? Because I wanted to, it's got nothing to do with what race you are, black kids get beat and they shoot people. Same with latino's, so shut your racist mouth no one want's to hear your crap.
