Iranian Series, Avicenna - Part 1 (سریال ایرانی بوعلی سینا)

ابو علی سینا اندیشمند، فیلسوف، پزشک و دانشمند بزرگ خراسانی - ایرانی که در جهان غرب به نام(Avicenna) و با لقب "امیر پزشکان" شناخته شده است، در یکم شهریور ماه ( صفر از سال 370 هجری قمری) در شهر بخارا به دنیا آمد. پور سینا را پدر دانش پزشکی نوین خوانده اند. وی بیش از 450 کتاب نگارش کرده است که در میان آنها 240 کتاب هنوز برجا مانده و در دسترش میباشند!
پر آوازه ترین کتابهای پور سینا "شفا" و "قانون" میباشند که نزدیک به 5 سده / تا سده هجدهم در دانشگاههای پر آوازه خاور و باختر / اروپا آموزش داده میشده!
مچنین لباس فارغ التحصیلی دانشگاه های تراز اول جهان یا همان ردای بلند و کلاه چهارگوش، میراث پدر علم جهان یا ابوعلی سینای ایرانی است.

Pur Sina (son of Sina / c. 980, born in Afshana near Bukhara, died in 1037, Hamadan, Iran), commonly known as Ebn Sina or by his Latinized name Avicenna, was a Persian polymath who is renowned to be the "Father of Modern Medicine". He wrote almost 450 works on a wide range of subjects, of which 240 have survived. His most famous work "The Book of Healing" and "The Canon of Medicine" which were the standard text at many eastern and European universities for five centuries up until the 18th century.
Avecenna was known to have operated a friend's gall bladder. Also the graduation outfit across the western universities is adopted from Avicenna's style in his honour.

This is great art work! Considering it was made under pressure by sanctions on one side and by Government`s censorship on the other side!..........Very Nostalgic and a tad melancholic!
