In this video, I talk about my history with iPods, my getting of this particular one, a discussion of my impressions with it after a few hours on hand, and thanking the wonderful seller for putting it up.
The iPod was released in 2001, and its second incarnation, also known as the "Second Generation", was released in 2002, featuring most prominently its PC compatibility, amongst a few other changes. It remains otherwise unchanged in appearance from its predecessor, but upgrades the base storage capacity to 10GB up from 5GB (though the 5GB option was still available). Touted as holding 2000 songs, the 10GB version had 10 hours of battery life, and could play back various audio formats, most notably the MP3, which was becoming a major player in audio back in the day; which still persists to this day, actually.
@metalmaiden999 Well I plug it in like any other ipod. If your pc don't have a firewire port you will need to get a firewire card that fits into your pc card slot. I love the old ipod

@metalmaiden999 I actually didn't.
This is the first model that can be formatted to windows, but I had an old PowerPC Mac from the same year, and I used it to sync and add music.
