  • Around 45 minutes? You are very bold! ;-)

Better luck with your next green screen experiment!

  • @uxwbill

The light never seemed to be unhappy about me ignoring the 5 minutes only rule... The thing that popped must have been a dimmer resistor, because the light still works in the 1000W position, but not in the 500W position.

  • :D

in witch language you are thinking normaly ?

  • @Aspecsi

Usually German, when I'm making videos I switch over to English.

  • the halogens get really warm............

  • @powerlockit

Especially these ones! After running the light for a while, it takes almost 30min until it's cold enough to put it away!

  • @DrCassette Neat. Can you talk any other things?

And how is it up there in Germany?

  • Nice outake Jonas. :)

  • @vwestlife

I have an old German lamp with my DS8mm film camera. It's fixed at 1000W and this thing is incredibly bright and gets really hot! I'm afraid to keep it turned on for more than 2 minutes. I haven't played with chroma key yet, but do you really need 500W lamp? It's a lot of power.

  • @DrCassette Your expression was priceless. the "OH SHIT" expression.

  • @DrCassette wow, i remember putting a work light away in the garage when it was cold outside and the bulb instantly broke because of the shock

  • @Lachlant1984

    - It did take out the fuse.

    - It was quite loud.

    - No, that's another light.

  • @wilkes85

The bulbs turned out to be fine, apperantly only the built-in dimmer broke, so now I can run the light on the 1000W full power, but not on the 500W reduced brightness position.
