Chellsie Marie Memmel (born June 23, 1988 in West Allis, Wisconsin) is an
American gymnast. She is the 2005 World All-Around Champion, making her the
third American woman, after Kim Zmeskal and Shannon Miller, to become World
Champion in the All-Around. She is also a World Champion on the uneven bars
(2003) and as part of the U.S. team (2003). She is a member of the United
States' '08 Oly.mpic women's gymnastics team. With a total of six World medals, Memmel is one of the most decorated U.S. female gymnasts.

Shawn Johnson (born January 19, 1992) is an American artistic gymnast. She is
the 2008 Olym.pic individual all-around silver medalist, the 2007 all-around
World Champion, and the 2007 and 2008 U.S. all-around champion.
At the '2008 Summer Olym.pics Johnson competed in all four events during the
team competition, in which the United States won the silver medal. Johnson also won the silver medal in the individual all-around competition, receiving a score of 62.725. Johnson's teammate Nastia Liukin won the gold medal, receiving a score of 63.325. With Liukin taking gold and Johnson silver, this competition was
the first time that the United States Women's Gymnastics team took both the
gold and silver medals in the individual all-around competition; this competition also marks only the fourth time any country has won both the gold and silver medals in the individual all-around competition. She won the silver medal in floor exercise, with teammate Liukin taking bronze.

i think she does plan on continuing. i dont know if u watched this years national championships, but i was there night one and she performed on BB and so did nastia liuken. i dont know if this was becuz chelsie wanted to be considered as a specialist on beam or if she just wanted to see where she was at at this point in her career. but she was very solid and i too hope tht she will be continueing on for the next couple of years
