To destroy the virus with a laser one would also have to destroy the t4 cell that it is hosted in.

One would have to destroy all t4cells to even come close to making an attempt to eradicate the h.i.v. virus .

To do that one would also have to destroy the patients lymph nodes where t4 cells are made.
