Got board this week, so I thought I would make myself a little practice amp with a 1" CRT monitor or "scope" in it.
The amplifier is 5w with 6AQ5, 12AX7 and 6X4 rectifier.
The scope vertical is driven directly from the 12AX7 with the horizontal timebase being delivered by a mini 7 pin 5663 thyratron amplified by a 6AU6.
CRT brightness, timebase speed and gain are all adjustable from the back of the amp.
There is also a jack on the back of the speaker case to run an external cab.
Looks awesome with the lights out.

Oh, that's a sweet project. I'm guessing you're using the AC sine wave as the sweep signal?

@jrehwin Thanks, a simple 5663 mini thyratron (gas triode) circuit provides a sawtooth sweep the 50hz ac sine wasn't quick enough to provide a decent display of the higher notes.
