Moments later, you're dragged behind a high pile of casks and boxes. In the darkness, you can make out some sailors. The one who grabbed you is your enemy, Romano.

"Here's our spy, mates!" the man snarls.
"This toad is going to tell Columbus about our plan to take over the ship!"

You shout angrily at him. "I'm not a spy! I haven't said anything to the captain. That's the truth!"

Romano sneers. "You're lying! I watched you plotting with Scarpio. Let's drop this rat overboard men!"

The others stare at you silently. Their leader has them convinced, and they start to close in. Romano steps forward and raises his arm. You see the gleam of a knife in his hand!

Quickly you tip a crate over, blocking his way. You race through the hold and duck behind some barrels. You'd better jump!
