During the most anticipated football event of the year and in the midst of the biggest games, supporters from all over the world had their attention stolen by the German octopus's accurate predictions. We seized this golden opportunity to kick off our football communication with an ad showing the eight-tentacled creature choosing Pepsi. As soon as it was published in local newspapers and on the advertising website "Ads of the world", Pepsi and the octopus visual created a massive buzz everywhere around the net. The international press got hold of the phenomenon and the campaign spread from local to regional.
