@ChristChurchLondon Well, if you can prove through other means than the Bible that Jesus really existed, you deserve to be listened to. Because of disability and ill health, I am unable to make the long journey to London to hear you. As for me, I have a gut feeling that Jesus really did exist and was the son of God, but so far in my 64 years of life on this Earth, I've been wrong about almost everything else, so my gut feeling cannot be relied on regarding Jesus, either. I envy you your faith.

There is no historical evidence to prove that Jesus ever existed and certainly none that shows he ever met Pontius Pilate, the Roman Governor of Judea, or that Pilate had him executed. The Biblical accounts of Jesus's life and death were not written until decades after his supposed death and are second and third hand accounts of what was supposed to have taken place, changed and rewritten over the centuries to fit the political dogma of the time. How can anyone with any sense believe in Jesus?

@onceaboy1947 Actually there is a lot of historical evidence showing that Jesus did in fact exist, much of this evidence is actually from non-Christians. The gospels in the Bible are actually written by people who knew Jesus and were with him
The Alpha course deals with this quite well. We have an Alpha course starting in May if you are interested! ;) No harm in getting involved, learning what others believe (and why), and finding out how we can prove that Jesus did exist.

I'd love to go but it would mean getting a couple of trains over. Im only 16, besides, isnt it realy limited to people in London?
