  • realy the 1701-d is not better than the 1701-e because the weapons are not as good and the enterprise d is not as monuverable ad the enterprise e

  • @holodock I stand corrected. i would go for the D myself.

  • @ArchangelxViktor Yes 1701-D is a couple of meters shorter but only because of the extremely long warp nacells mounted on 1701-E. In every other aspect 1701-E is smaller. Here is some ST Encyclopedia specs to compare ;)

    1701-D (length - 642 m, width - 465 m, height - 137 m, decks - 42, crew complement - 1014)

    1701-E (length - 680 m, width - 445 m, height - 131 m, decks - 24, crew complement - 750)

Now you tell me which ship would provide more space to hide :)

  • @holodock you've never seen a size chart for the ships have you? The Galaxy Class (Enterprise D) was a LOT smaller than the Sovergein Class (Enterprise E) was.

  • I love how life imitates art. First, the original space shuttle was named Enterprise in honor of the USS Enterprise. Now, Virgin Galactics first ship is named the VSS Enterprise. There will always be an Enterprise for every generation.

  • I LOLed hard when I read your comment... And you know why? Because on Enterprise D you would have a chance to hide if Worf decided to hunt you down and kill you... On Enterprise E I don't think so cause its smaller :P So kneel down and worship the alpha and omega of all spaceships, the NCC-1701 gamma bearing the honorable name that history and the future will remember as "Enterprise"!

  • The Enterprise D was a Badass ship. I don't care wat anyone thinks

  • The ships in star trek aren't built primarily for war, they're built mainly for exploration.

  • The enterprise in the new movie is butt ugly make no mistake about that.
