Coffee has its origins in Ethiopia, and in Brussels we have our very own Ethiopian cafe. It's called the Aksum Coffee House, and its owner a Finn named Jarmo. He came to Belgium to study African literature, and on a trip to Ethopia he fell in love with the country and its coffee. Aksum also sells organic coffee beans, roasted on the premises. There is cake, free wifi access, and once in a while an Ethopian colleague gives a demonstration of the traditional way to prepare and drink coffee in Ethiopia.
