my grandad has it, he went into hospital with raised ALP levels and then they gave him a bone scan. He's also going deaf because he has it in his skull. He's becoming less mobile as time goes on, he's only 71.

@HackersExplode it only develops into a sarcoma (bone cancer) in less than 1% of cases. Its very rare for it to turn malignant.

complications of paget's disease are fracture, arthritism and hearing loss
other treatments are calcitonin, plicamycin(antibiotic)
