yes god gave israel to the jewish people. and the jews are gods chosen people. but i will find in scripture i think it is john that the scales will be removed when jesus comes. many jewish people still are waiting they don't believe that jesus is the messiah. but many jews do believe know that jesus is messiah i will get back to u on that.

Surely the very first Christians were Jews. That means that you had Jews who followed Jesus and Jews who did not. The Jews that followed Jesus were the chosen people, not the Jews that did not believe. To the Jewish Christians gentile Christians were added later on, therefor the Chistians are the chosen people of God.
