my nephew started taking swimming lessons at 15 months... Scares the shit out of me but babies instinctively know how to hold breath under water.. Humans are amazing creatures until we get old enough to be worried. And after we're told "dont do this, dont do that"

omg could ya'll just shut the hell up. ovisly if the parent didnt want there kid in water they wouldnt be there. and its at a swimming SCHOOL actual people who know what there doing work there. gawd

@chunkylongtime lol DUH we all understand life is born with innate instincts( yes even humans..) but that question is how long a baby can maintain this NEW instinct just given to them until their medula tell them to breath, BUT WAIT theres no oxygen, there is water. in this case (and influencing many others) the baby clearly tried to take a breath. All im trying to say is this is horrible and some babys are gonn die..

@SubbyStar He wasn't going to cry,he was just trying to catch his breath! And no, he didn't think she was going to catch him, she said"Come and get me" not "Im going to catch you" and he plopped into the water like that because he is a fucking baby, how else would he get into it! He looked like he was loving it, and having fun, otherwise he wouldn't have jumped in! You are undermining the intelligence of children; he knew what the water was, and what it was like swimming, and he still jumped in.
