  • Was this a History Day project? If so, I hope it did very well. You did a great job! I am going to use it in my classroom. Thanks!

  • Yes this was a history day project. I received first place in the regional competition but did not place in states. I'm very glad you will be using it in your classroom. Enjoy =)

  • It's my pleasure, Thanks for watching =)

  • It is sad. The Roosevelts were magnificant people that did not get the credit they deserved nor the standing in America.

  • Yes, They was and are the HOPE of a NATION!I wish orther as them in the White House!

  • Bravo! well done! Even tho their time was before mine, just talk to anyone who lived in that era, and they will tell you that FDR was the greatest president we ever had. Being a history buff I fully agree. Once again well done!

  • Must have been tough competition on the state level then- because this is GOOD.

I just took 27 of my 7th graders to State two weeks ago- and two of them took 2nd in the web site category so...we're off to Nationals in June.

    Anyway- keep it up :)

  • Thank You for sharing this great info with pics that soo few have every seen!! =)

  • Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt - the names conger images of mythic proportions. He led us through the great depression and the WWII. She communicated government concern and support for the ordinary people. She also made a singular contribution to launching the civil rights movement that led to where we are today the land of President Obama. She helped author the UN Declaration of Human Rights. Yet the United States turned its back on everything the Roosevelts stood for. Why? Why? Why? Tragic!
