Ave Maria (Schubert) and extract from Barber's Adagio sung by one of the UKs leading boys choirs.

Live performance during a concert in Votivskirche, Vienna in July 2005.

This choir have had separate tours to Italy (3 times), Poland, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and America.
The boys have also sung twice for the Pope at private audiences in the Vatican and are in the Guinness Book of Records as the first and the only choir ever to sing for services in every single cathedral in England.

From 1994 to 2005 the choir undertook an amazing 69 tours worldwide singing in 87 different cathedrals.

  • lovely high B natural from the boy in the close up. I've sung the adagio and when sing right it just gives me the chills...in a good way. Do they have a CD with the adagio on it, I wonder? thanks for posting.

  • Yes there is a CD with the Agnus Dei (Adagio) on it.

This choir were officially the best school choir in the country a few years ago. Unfortunately they were disbanded in 2006 after a malicious and premeditated false allegations against their Director. Such a shame. The Director proved his innocence but the choir was lost because of someones jealousy and envy!

  • Simply magnificent. You made a grown man cry.

I wish I had known of your existence while you were still active. I only live a few miles away in Manchester and would have nade the effort to come and support you.

You are all a credit to your generation.

  • Please could the person uploading these do so again, with the audio level set lower so it doesn't distort. Thanks.

  • Boys you really were wonderful-thank you for ten amazing years, for sharing your tours and your great successes! You made me cry lots of times, and laugh just as many. You were all proper gentlemen. Most of all I was proud to be able to say I was with you. I was glad to be there to the end. The Lord bless you and keep you.x

  • Being in this choir was a privilege and a brilliant experience. I was proud to be in it, and still am. So disappointed and upset that it's gone. Justice for KK
