I love this man, I hope somehow that he knows. Every time I hear him I am amazed at just how much he is and has always been a part of my world. Mom put us in the playpen and turned on Nat King Cole.As such, he was my first and very favorite babysitter. One time she tried to play Steve & Edie and we freaked, Melba toast and strained prunes everywhere. She knew then that we had sophisticated tastes...Nat Cole, Billy Eckstein, Mitch Miller, and Captain Kangeroo. Yes, those were the days. PEACE

I absolutely love this song, and the background vocals are the perfect fit for Mr. Nat King Cole's vocals. There are times when I'll put this on auto play and let it play as I go about my business, and before you know it an hour or two has passed...yeah, I guess you can say I really like this song. lol

I'm pretty sure those were the Ray Charles Singers backing him on this recording. This was one of his last hits and I think he knew it was closing for him. He was only 45, but he smoked like a fiend...what a tragic loss to the music world. He died just a couple of years before I entered the broadcast world professionally. Until I retired, I always included him into my musical programming as do others today.

Nothing short of breathtaking. I truly sense that that Mr. Cole had a love for this song as his presentation was so thoughtful and inspiring. This man was created to sing and enrapture us with his elegant persona.
