i dont think i have ever heard of the da20-c1 being referred to as a 'Diamond Star'. Its an Eclipse. There is a DA40 Diamond Star which is diesel powerd. Is this the aircraft in the vid?
Otherwise, key is in wrong position for an Eclipse
Many pilots prefer conventional displays to the Garmin G1000 becuase that is what they learned on and is what they feel most comfortable with. I am one of those people and I have no intentions to change to a glass panel.
The DA20-C1 is not a Diamond Star is a Eclipse

DA 20 C1 is an Eclipse. And DA40 Diamond Stars are not Diesel Powered. Your thinking of the Twin Star DA42
