@rgsumer The EV1 was NEVER in mass production. GM only built a few and the battery technology was not there at the time. The EV1 was an all electric and not suitable for hot or cold climates. The Documentary you refer to is a piece of shit hit piece. There are so many factual errors in it that it isn't even funny. You really don't know what you are talking about.
If you ask me, just about everyone needs to relearn how to drive. They make it sound like the public is a bunch of fat, slow, stupid people that can not be bothered to learn anything new or change they way they do or think about the way they live...

The first mass produced electric car was the Baker Electric back in the 1900's.
