LYRICS:
Take a ride on Monday
to the promised land
across the mighty ocean
across the burning sand
Heat haze rising, wheels touching down
Tropical horizon, tropical sound
Left a hazy situation
choking on its greed
to find a precious diamond
to find a memory
Moving to my heartbeat
through this virgin sea
standing so golden,
African Queen
Do you remember, remember me?
I'm the one from the other world
who's looking for, who's looking for,
who's looking for today
Take a chance on Monday
stay out of this world
No need for reason,
no time for words
Waiting on the jungle night,
proud and serene
someday you'll find
African queen
Do you remember, remember me?
I'm the one from the other world
who's looking for, who's looking for,
who's looking for today
