  • My dad used to scuba dive a long time ago with a hose pumping air to him

  • Any mixture becomes toxic eventually but the upper limit is generally regarded as a partial pressure of O2 of 1.6 bar. Pure oxygen can therefore only be used to a depth of 6 metres, not 66. Beyond 6m you will need air, nitrox, heliox or trimix where the ppO2 can be kept at the 'working' limit of 1.4 bar ppO2.

  • plus nitrox doesn't dry your mouth and lungs out like normal air from what i hear
