Persian Dance (Shahrzad Dance Academy Junior Company-"Naz o Namak")

This style of dance is inspired by the regional dances done in the north-western part of Iran, influenced heavily by Turkish and Russian music and dance.

This piece was performed by the pre-teen and teenage Junior Company Members of Shahrzad Dance Academy (SDA), a California based Persian dance company in the U.S., founded by Shahrzad Khorsandi in 1996.

SDA performs both locally and internationally at various events such as cultural festivals, weddings, school & library educational programs, and formal concerts.
