@zangalus2005 Rumor has it that the USS Alabama was the ship the movie "Under
Siege" was filmed on. At the time, the USS Missouri was still on active duty.

My Great Uncle, Francis Spohrer, was a plank owner on her. He was also the Alabama's boxing champion!

I just went here... It was so cool. The Rooms were so small and the pictures show so many people on the boat... Plus It was Kind of confusing when on the boat because They had Red/Green/Yellow tours but it was very nice.

I have been through the tour. Old WWII songs. I have been into the helm with 16? in armor. Very nice.

Yes it was, they even changed the number on the ship from 60 to 63. After filming was finished they restored the ship back to it's class and WW2 configuration.
-
Yeah I guess Katrina slammed it into the moorings and flooded the museum next to it and Ivan about tore off the museums roof a few years before that.

"can u shoot the guns and hit mobile?"
I wish I could shoot the 16"s. I'd pound that shit hole ghetto town of Prichard into rubble.
-
yes it was . and the submarine too
Oh your right, they used it as a set. Didn't realize they did that till I looked it up.
